Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: No, you will just need to pay the full rental amount on the day of use by cash or cheque made payable to County Castles.

Q: What about a cancellation?
A: Having been in the business for a few years we understand problems can ‘strike’ a planned function, but where a cancellation is inevitable, please give us as much notice as you can. No charge will be made.

Q: What about the weather?
A: Most of our customers will put off an event in case of bad weather as our inflatables are not designed for poor conditions. It is possible to reschedule the booking or to move the event to a hired hall where applicable.
Only on the rare occasions that we will make the decision for you based on the weather are when its considered too dangerous to hire a unit out in these conditions. We will always stay in contact with you leading up to an event if the weather is looks to interfere with the booking.

Q: What about supervision?
A: If you don’t feel confident with supervising a function, we will gladly do this for you. Ask for further information and cost of this service when booking.

Q: How long do I have the equipment for?
A: We do not hire units by the hour. The equipment is normally hired on a daily basis, but usually most people require a session running from early to late morning or late afternoon to early evening. However, we try to be as flexible as possible to fit your requirements.

Q: What about conformation of booking?
A: Conformation of your booking will be in the form of an email and/or phone call. We will also contact you the day before your event as a final conformation. Obviously you can contact us at any time by phone or email.

Q: Does the air pump and generator that inflates the equipment have to stay on at all times?
A: Yes.

Q: Is there any extra charge for using the generators and pumps?
A: There are two types of equipment that are used to power the air pumps. The first one is electric and where possible will need to be connected to your 13 Amp power supply (we supply up to 50m in extension leads at no extra cost).
The second type is powered by petrol and this will require a surcharge for the cost of fuel.

Q: Will the castle I hire fit into my garden or the go in the hall that I have hired?
A: Check the ‘more details’ link on the product pages for the overall space required for each item.

Q: How long will it take to inflate the average size castle?
A: It only takes a few minutes to inflate even the biggest of castles. However, be aware that installing and set-up time needs to be taken into account. We would normally like to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of any booking and also allow 45 minutes for packing away.
For the larger units good level access is required because they can be very heavy and weigh in excess of 600kg.

Q: What about safety?
A: All items, where appropriate, have safety certificates. In discussion with us we will advise you on suitable equipment for your event. All inflatable’s come with safety mats and ground anchors (for hard standings such as driveways/patios and halls use of existing fixtures around have to be used to tie off the guides or we can supply weights).

Q: What about insurance?
A: We have Public Liability Insurance to the amount of £5,000,000. This is an amount insisted upon by the local authorities. This does not cover for personal injury.
